Today is 22.02.2011. I think the number is pretty nice! :) but I've got nothing to update for today. Haha! Last week more happening.
18th February Finally met up with my Beatty Band friends! This year we try to make an effort to meet at least every 2 months! Haha... Wanted to have a whole day program, but it kinda failed cos' everyone's so busy! The rest were not free, so in the afternoon I met up with Kat for lunch first.
We had steamboat at POMO. Hmm I think their standard dropped. The soup is not as milky as before! It even turns clear after boiling for awhile. Haha... Maybe all the milk evaporated xD during lunch, Kat informed me that the Toto prize for that night is $10 million! So I bought a ticket too when we were on our way out of POMO :P but obviously I didn't win, cos' or else I wouldn't be here blogging anymore! I'd be happily planning some business. Haha!
After lunch, we still had quite a lot of time to spare before our next appointment, so went to catch a movie! Kat suggested Black Swan, and so we happily went to buy the movie tickets! Unbeknown to me, it was M18! I thought Singapore censorship had relaxed so much... Haha and I can't help but keep whispering to Kat throughout the movie cos' I was so scared! Worse than horror movie. Haha. Hope I wasn't too much of a disturbance! :P
At night, I drove all the way to Jurong Point, cos Susanna and Hui Xin were stuck at Pulau NTU and Shang Yi is doing her attachment somewhere there too.
Here we are at New York New York. Susanna always eats pasta!! Luckily I quite like it too. Haha! It was already quite late when we finished dinner, but meeting just for dinner just isn't enough. So for the second part of our program, we drove all the way to Pasir Panjang... Sana's house!
For mahjong session. Played till past midnight. Haha! In the end, Hui Xin won. She is super pro... Luckily we play with 10 cents 20 cents stakes, if not Carolyn (the biggest loser! Hahaha) would be broke by the end of the game. Let's play again soon (I say so cos' I won some money too! Haha).
19th February It's my prof's wedding! He invited all his students, so touching... I was taught by him during year 1 for Legal Research and Writing and this term, coincidentally, he's teaching me Family Law.
We bought a present for him (bible verse calligraphy) and I wrapped it using a wrapper I've kept for a long time... It was one of my favourite wrappers! I bought it to keep de lehh... See, so cute right... But anyways, such things would only be meaningful if used :)
Here we are at ACS(I). I like the slides that were displayed during Prof's wedding... The photos are so beautiful! The one on the screen here is taken by Prof himself. Love the waterfall! Their pose is quite interesting too :)
There was a large variety of food at the wedding and it was quite fun too! Cos' there were live food stalls (satay, mee siam, etc.) and also instant photo prints! So everybody gets to bring home at least one photo of themselves taken at the wedding by the professional photographers. Could really feel the love and bliss from this wedding, with my prof smiling so widely throughout (he doesn't really smile usually)! He even took the effort to create the montage, shoot a wedding video and take bridal pictures on his own. A very sincere man *thumbs up*
So professional. Haha! And I spotted at least 5 people with professional DSLRs snapping away. Not sure if they are hired or they are just his friends who are into photography too xD
